Welcome to this page on building the Unit up

1). We Will start to build the unit by now you would have modified your old cell phone and made your simple Peg modification.

2). In the photo below you need to fix your Peg to the bottom of your box I used a hot melt glue gun for this glue guns can be got from DIY shops or stores or on ebay UK Click here In the USA Click here. Please note when buying a hot melt glue gun the glue sticks come in different sizes for different glue guns.

In the photo above you can see the glue holding the Peg down don't get glue on the middle silver contacts the peg should still be working like normal.

In the photo above you can see I have drilled a hole make sure the hole is smaller than the lace as we need to add a little tension to stop the lace falling out and for the dog to pull it out.

Now you can see how to solder the wires from the Peg to the 3.5 socket

Now in the photo above I have connected my 3.5mm socket

Now in the photo above you can see I have left some slack with the lace in the case.

The photo below shows a lace with the plastic end on it all laces are like this.

Then just pop the end of the lace in and out of the hole in your box.

The photo above shows a Stereo 3.5mm plug.

Now when you come to solder your plug from your phone solder one wire from the modified phone to the longest connecter on the plug.

With the next wire from your plug solder this wire to the middle pin contact click on photo for bigger picture.

In the case of you wanting to use a Mono 3.5mm Plug solder one wire to the longest connecter and one to the middle connecter.
