1).This page will help you set up Remote Assistance if you get the box below all you have to do is click on OK in the box.

2). Now if you are having problems sending a invitation to some one then this will be down to your settings to fix this follow the photos below. First click Start then. Control Panel.

3). In the photo below you will have 2 ways to set this up if your view is like the one below then just click on System if your view is different then click on Switch to Classic view to your left of the screen. Please note I am using (Service pack 2).

4). Now you will get a box like the one in the photo below now all you need to do is click on Remote see photo below.

5). Now after you have clicked on Remote you will get the photo below now put a tick in the box called Allow Remote Assistance Invitation from this computer then click on Apply then click on ok.

6). Now if you are still having problems check your firewall settings the file sharing must be enabled to allow a home or office net work to work with Remote Assistance see my firewall settings below.
