BIG-GAME hunting has returned to Britain with gunmen paying £550 apiece to
shoot captive wild boar on a country estate. However, ant hunting campaigners
are likely to target the sport, and the proprietor of Britain’s first
commercial boar hunt will not advertise it publicly. He relies on word of
mouth to attract customers

Butchered tigers, leopards seized on Thai-Lao border. Six slaughtered tigers
and five leopards have been seized along with 275 live pangolins as
traffickers tried to smuggle them across the Mekong River into Laos, the Thai
navy said Wednesday.

tigress found dead on Sunday has placed asphyxia, fracture of trachea, brain

Almost 12,000 grey squirrels have been poisoned to death or shot in the past
year in a ‘cull’ funded by the government. The killings took place in
Northumberland England UK and were undertaken - it was said - to protect the

A protest against hare coursing is scheduled to take place on Wednesday,
February 6th, 2008 from 12 noon to 2 pm. The Irish Council Against Blood
Sports is one of the groups from all around Ireland who will be represented at
this peaceful demonstration outside the coursing finals venue - Powerstown
